I’m lucky enough to live in Wiltshire, one of the UK’s prettiest counties, and spend much of my time exploring the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) woodlands, lakes, rivers and rolling hills around me with my camera.
Over the past few years I’ve become an avid birder, travelling far and wide to capture the extraordinary bird stories coming to life in front of me. There’s nothing better than getting up early to catch the early bird catching the worm!
The North Pennines AONB is a home away from home, and it's there that I try and capture the diversity of landscape – desolate heaths and moorland, wooded valleys, rivers and waterfalls, extreme weather and wonderful sunsets/storms.
Many of my photographs feature in my range of greetings cards branded Black Bill
– striking photographic images given a contemporary, graphic look. These include birds and wildlife, as well as the History
range featuring great historical quotes delivered by dogs!
